When assigned as the group leader for this project, I knew my role was to guide them through deadlines and make sure everyone's ideas were heard. I was a bit nervous to have this role because a semester-long group project is not easy. When creating our team contract, I knew the heavy task that comes with being the group leader. I organized meetings, coordinated communication between the group, and ensured that deadlines were met. While group projects are often tough, I wanted to make sure that everyone's voices were heard and their parts of the assignments were clear. Leadership to me means guiding a team with clear communication, supporting everyone’s ideas, and working together to achieve a shared goal.
